STAINLESS STEEL HOSES

PED 97.23 CE
Stainless steel metal hoses are used for a variety of industrial
applications. Their mechanical performance (with or without braiding) facilitates the transfer of industrial fluids and gases under extreme conditions: temperature, shifting, vibration, high dynamic stress, misalignment, etc.
..

Our metal hoses have parallel waves made from a rolled/welded strip compliant with ISO standard 10380:2003.
The standard material is made from austenitic Z6 CN 18-10 - AISI 321 stainless steel.
Austenitic Z2 CND 17-12 (AISI 316L) stainless steel is also available.
We also supply Inconel 625 and Monel 400 hoses.
HTI SERVICES can also equip hoses with one or two metallic braids based on your technical needs.
Braiding can be made from Z6 CN 18-09 ( AISI 304), Z6 CN 18-10 ( AISI 321 ) or Z6 CND 18.12 (316)..

"ISO Standard 10380:2003 specifies the design, construction and testing characteristics for general purpose sinuous metallic hoses and pipes. ISO 10380:2003 also specifies nominal diameters DN 4 to DN 300, pressure ratings PN 0.5 to PN 250, correction factors based on temperatures, two types of construction and three types of pipe flexibility."

We will help you determine your specifications for very severe applications where hoses are subject to vibrations, repeated movement and misalignment.

We can also provide covers and protection made from fibreglass etc.
External protective springs and anti-collapse springs available on request.

- Stainless steel temperature 321 - 316: -270°C to 600°C

- Inconel 625 temperature inconel braided
covering: –270°C to 980°C.
Nominal diameter: 6 mm - 300 mm.

- For TDG-approved TMM stainless steel hose: Temperature -270°C to 600°C

Our welders are EN 287 qualified by the independent assessment group Lloyd's register for the 97/23 EC pressure equipment directive.

All our products are tested during production and assembly.
Providing you with safe, reliable material is our priority.

Welding is an assembly operation where the metallic continuity of parts is ensured by overall fusion. After solidification, a homogeneous joint with the same characteristics of the base metal is obtained or a heterogeneous joint in the case of different metals.

HTI SERVICES is PED97.23EC certified by the Lloyd's Register assessment group module D1.

Pressure equipment directive PED 97.23/EC CE :

The PED 97/23/EC directive of May 29, 1997 is the European directive that requires the manufacturer to maintain a satisfactory level of safety for tanks, generators and pipes.

Its role : to protect users and installations from industrial risk.

The PED directive is applied during design, manufacture and compliance evaluation of equipment under pressure as well as for material with a maximum admissible pressure higher than 0.5 bar and a nominal diameter higher than 25 mm.

Before "CE marking" can be applied, the manufacturer must determine a category of classification according to the maximum admissible pressure, nominal dimension and the fluid transported.

Directive 97/23/EC determines two groups for fluid danger level:

  • Group 1: Dangerous fluids, explosive, inflammable, toxic or combustive fluids
  • Group 2: All fluids not listed in group 1
